Cawley Studio introduces the Flora, a wonderfully preppy, classic V-neck vest with cheerful, quirky charm in abundance.

Made from 100% wool in the UK, Flora features a V-neck ribbed collar with contrast ribbed armholes and a thickly ribbed hem, taking homage from the iconic silhouette that has defined knitted vests for decades. Perfect for layering over formal shirts, this piece and its soft texture add structure and dynamism to outfits lacking dimension, elevating your looks to connoisseurial academic status instantly.

High-quality, natural materials occupy an integral position for Cawley Studio and the prosperity of the planet. Ensuring their pieces are versatile, wearable and consciously produced in small quantities solidifies this brand as one set on shifting the wasteful norms of the fashion industry. Using wool, and other regenerative, biodegradable materials in their practice further solidifies this brand as one motivated to create change.

We adore Cawley Studio combining conscious production with artistic design when it comes to shifting the destructive norms of the industry. The exquisite pieces they lovingly produce, like the Flora, are the beautiful fruits of this labour of love, and at MIMMO Studios, we can’t get enough of it. If you love the Flora, Cawley’s Amelia Pullover and Mara Trouser could be amazing for you.

About the brand

Hannah Cawley founded her brand in 2017, with the aim of creating everyday clothes that celebrate quality craftsmanship, natural fabrics and British manufacturing. Each garment is designed to be functional, timeless and lasting and every piece is hand cut and made in London.

Paring back to only two collections per year, Hannah always begins with fabrics. Either looking to previous collections to see what can be carried forward - testament to the timelessness of her collections - or looking to the vintage Victorian garments she collects for inspiration.

“The collections are made to be timeless, I don’t think a seasonal concept works for my brand or the way I design.”
