An ode to simpler times, Cawley Studio crafts their Sheepskin suede Mittens as if a love letter to nostalgic childhood Winters of the past.

Finished elegantly with suede on one side and sheep wool on the other, there’s no doubt that these little mittens won’t keep your hands nice and toasty when you’re out and about, braving the cold this season. So simple in silhouette yet oozing quietly luxurious charm, pop on these playful winter essentials to combine contemporary luxury with nostalgic artistry.

Made from 100% sheepskin in London, UK, Hannah Cawley selects all of her fabrics exclusively for their natural fibres, seeking to rewrite the wrongdoings of throwaway, trend-driven fast fashion, and instead shape a future centred around meaningful, naturally derived pieces to last you a lifetime.

We adore the sentimental childhood symbolism these mittens hold for us at MIMMO Studios, they feel playful and charming but functional and super insulating at the same time, hybridising two of fashion's most important facets. If Cawley’s mittens have wet your appetite for elevated Wintery neutrals, have a look at their Avis Jacket and Suede Cap to coordinate your bundled-up, cosy look.

About the brand

Hannah Cawley founded her brand in 2017, with the aim of creating everyday clothes that celebrate quality craftsmanship, natural fabrics and British manufacturing. Each garment is designed to be functional, timeless and lasting and every piece is hand cut and made in London.

Paring back to only two collections per year, Hannah always begins with fabrics. Either looking to previous collections to see what can be carried forward - testament to the timelessness of her collections - or looking to the vintage Victorian garments she collects for inspiration.

“The collections are made to be timeless, I don’t think a seasonal concept works for my brand or the way I design.”
