Wax Atelier waxed linen food wraps (set of three) are a sustainable alternative to using plastic cling film. They can be used time and time again to protect foods such as cheese, half-cut fruits and vegetables, dried snacks and more.

Three waxed linen food wraps are included in each set; one of each size. 

Available in Ivy or Madder colour options.

About the brand

Wax Atelier is an artisan candle brand designed and made in London. Founded by Lola Lely and Yesenia Thibault-Picazo in 2017, Wax Atelier are now a team of 10 women making 100% natural beeswax candles in the traditional hand dipped method.

Wax Atelier began as a passion project by the two founders to explore every aspect of Wax - from its social and historical context to looking at it from a craft and raw material perspective. Their candles are not only beautiful, but also provide benefits to the local community. Partnering with the Participatory City Foundation charity to develop a skills programme, they are able to offer the community training in traditional candle making, and provide jobs in their factory paying London Living Wage.

All the ingredients that make up the candles are locally sourced - with Beeswax from the UK countryside, with some ingredients even coming from the factory garden. Wax Atelier is a proudly plastic free brand.

UK Shipping options

Standard shipping 3-5 working days: Flat rate fee of £4.99 across all orders

Express shipping 1-2 working days: Premium fee of £7.99 across all orders

Please note that shipping times may vary from those estimated. 

Europe & International shipping

We do not ship outside of the UK due to the carbon emissions associated with doing so. 

We believe in supporting local businesses, so if you are outside of the UK and would like to buy one of our products, we would encourage you to research craftspeople local to you. 

Returns

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@mimmostudios.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit being returned, so recommend you use a tracked or signed postal service to avoid issue. We will also require proof of postage. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned;

  • Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants),
  • Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items),
  • Personal care goods (such as beauty products),
  • Earrings,
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases,
  • Sale items,
  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
