Picture a classic fairisle knit and Howlin’s Living in the Light Jumper probably comes to mind. Ridiculously iconic and deserving of celebration for its nostalgic, familiar pattern, this style of sweater has defined Autumn/Winter wardrobes for decades.
Featuring a thickly ribbed collar, cuffs and hem, Living in the Light is made from 100% local wool in Scotland and has a slightly oversized silhouette, in keeping with the relaxed, cosy vibes this season. Pop on styled with a reliable pair of jeans and chunky boots for effortless Autumnal elevation.
Howlin’ is a brand that prioritises the welfare and prosperity of local Scottish and Irish farmers through their business, working directly with them to produce pure, organic wool for the use of craftspeople when fashioning the knitwear.
We love Howlin’ for their loyal commitment to traditional farming and conscious manufacturing techniques that occupy the heart of their business, their love for the planet is infectious. If knitwear is your thing, take a peek at the Woolen Wonder Scarf, or the Queen of the Night Jumper, also by Howlin’.
