The Paradise Trouser is the charming result of combining formal tailoring and naturally stretchy knit fabric.

Camilla Bloom takes inspiration in this piece from Japanese woodcuts and the irregularities found within them that inspire the diffused flecks scattered throughout the fabric. With a flattering high waist and straight-leg silhouette, the Paradise trouser is classically complimentary, hugging the body and elongating the legs.

Camilla, founder of Camilla Bloom, is committed to fair working conditions across all her studios, empowering all the craftspeople she employs with fair living wages and treatment at work. She has made it her mission to consistently search for progressive materials to use in her practice, ensuring each fabric she selects is low environmentally impactful material. As they’re crafted from 95% FSC-certified viscose, 4% elite and 1% nylon, the Paradise trousers are no exception.

The subtle hybridisation of structured tailoring combined with stretch rib fabric makes these trousers one of a kind, and we love this unique energy that the Paradise trousers ooze. In terms of styling, why not boldly experiment with texture and colour by pairing these with Xi Atelier’s Linen Cleo Shirt and Auór’s Valentina Sunglasses?

About the brand

Camilla Bloom was founded in 2018 by Camilla Stolerman in East London. Camilla is not only a clothing designer, but a fabric designer, too. Camilla aims to nurture each design - an antithesis to the retail industry’s relentless hunger for ‘newness’ which she previously experienced in her design career.

Camilla Bloom is a prime example of how a new fashion industry could operate. Down to the tiniest details, such as repurposing yarns from sampling, to the garment construction itself - everything is done with the utmost care and consideration for the environmental impact it might have.

“I want my clothes to act as mood enhancers to customers - for them to feel like Camilla Bloom is a steady force that they can come back to.”
