We Started Making Pasta

Couper et Coudre is a collection designed and handmade by Fleur Thomas in Somerset. The name comes from the French 'to cut' and 'to sew', and the philosophy of the brand revolves around thoughtfully designed products with attention to detail.

Fleur creates items from natural vegetable tanned leather which will become better with age, and will also biodegrade at the end of its lifetime. Many of the designs are made using traditional hand tools and techniques, sewn by Fleur and her small team from start to finish.

Hand made exclusively for MIMMO Studios, the Ravioli brings smile to everyone when they reach for their keys.

We love the creative flair Fleur has for taking everyday items and celebrating the beauty of their simplicity.

Fleur said: "Katie & Lil came up with the idea for a pasta shaped keyring and we went from there. I loved playing with the vegetable tan leather remnants (we have from making our accessories) to work out the right size, colours, padding and which stitching would work best."

The finished design is made from soft vegetable tanned leather and cut and sewn by hand in Somerset. Measuring 9 x 9cm it's easy to grab from your tote, and as the leather softens with use it becomes more and more like pasta!
