Batch Wednesdays lovingly bring us the Opal Tumbler: glassware masterfully blown with the purpose to reignite the dying trade and celebrate the art of glassblowing and featuring smooth, glowy colours and sleek textures.
Spearheaded by founders Johnathan and Phoebe in London, as the name suggests, Batch Wednesdays’ Opal Tumblers are blown in batches on Wednesdays by a team of skilled assistants and apprentices all being taught essential glass-making skills through this training scheme.
The nature of the scheme means that each and every opal tumbler is subtly unique, boasting a slight variation in rim thickness, colour and height, celebrating individuality and the process of creation over mass-produced symmetry.Designed specifically to be mixed and matched in your space, we love the smooth, versatile colourways this glass offers, imbuing a sense of cheerful minimalism into your kitchenware. If you like the artistry of these tumblers, we think you’d love the Batch Wednesdays Confetti Carafe or the Curated Home & Grown Contemporary Ceramic Vase to top up your repertoire of bespoke craftsmanship.
