Epitomising relaxed, effortless silhouettes, Howlin’s Tango in Japan Jumper is impressively elegant yet undeniably wearable, no matter your personal style.

Made in Scotland with a ribbed roll neck, cuffs and hem, and a relaxed fit, the Tango in Japan Jumper is a 100% pure Scottish wool companion to see you through the chillier days this year. Perfect for layering over a t-shirt or under a big, cosy trench coat, this sweater is beautifully simple yet effective at welcoming texture and warmth to your winter wardrobe.

Founded officially in 2009, Howlin’ is an Antwerp-based knitwear brand specialising in organic Scottish wool. Celebrating farming practices in these regions for centuries, Howlin’ has made it their mission to elevate the philosophies of traditional shepherds and wool weavers through their business, bringing prosperity to precious, heritage-bound techniques otherwise fading.

We adore Howlin’ for their undying commitment to organic, consciously sourced wool for their knitwear. The passion the business has for elevating the narratives and heritages of local farmers in Scotland is highly commendable. If you love Howlin’s story, go and have a little look at their Woolen Wonder Scarf or their Forevernevermore Pullover Jumper.

About the brand

Howlin’ is a playful Antwerp-based knitwear brand that, since 1981, has centred practice around producing quality, timeless knitwear that plays on traditional manufacturing processes.

Using classical knitting production lines, Howlin’ strays from convention when it comes to shape, colour and pattern in their pieces, breathing fresh life into quintessential craftsmanship. From jumpers to cardigans and accessories, Howlin’s cheerful artistry is infectious.

Each of Howlin’s garments is made lovingly in either Scotland, Ireland or Belgium by skilled craftspeople using the highest quality yarns possible, where respect towards the rich weaving heritage of each country is paid, hybridising old and new technologies and designs. Working closely with family-run wool businesses in these locations, Howlin’ celebrates the small but mighty people that keep conscious knitwear manufacturing alive.
