Super Fine Merino Molle Jumper
Super Fine Merino Molle Jumper
The ultimate Winter warmer, Ound’s Super Fine Merino Molle Jumper elevates knitwear to new levels of refined, warming sophistication.
Finished with a chunky ribbed knit collar, cuffs and hem, layer up in this cosy little piece to brave the seasons in style. Made from 100% Corriedale wool, each piece takes around three to five days to be lovingly made, making every single one all the more special. The Molle Jumper strikes the perfect balance a between slouchy, loose fit and a more structured silhouette, hybridising the two styles to bring you versatility to last a lifetime.
Ound was founded by Paula Delgado in a bid to rewrite the wrongs of the contemporary fashion industry, proving that high-quality craftsmanship and conscious practices are the future of prosperity for a sector in disrepair. Paula came together with female artisans in rural Uraguay to handcraft her knitwear from the finest wools around, where traditional knitting techniques underpin the livelihoods of locals in such areas.
We adore the humble, genuine motivation Paula has for the future of Ound, the pioneering and courageous way she centres her business around the wellbeing of locals in Uraguay and the planet’s prosperity is what makes us at MIMMO Studios so in awe of her beautiful pieces. If you love the Molle, you’ll adore Ound’s Caoba Cardigan or Cawley Studio's Sheepskin Avis Jacket.

100% Corriedale wool
Handcrafted by female artisans in rural Uruguay
Hypoallergenic
Processed without dyes and chemicals
Respectful of the environment and individually made
Ound hand-knitted pieces are made in Uruguay, a small country in southern South America that is home to exceptional wool and craftsmanship. Besides Australia and New Zealand, Uruguay has some of the finest Merino herds – small in number and with abundant land to graze. Many women in rural Uruguay live from wool and have established groups of hand-knitters. Through these forms of independent cooperation, the female artisans create work for themselves and provide for their families whilst
staying in their home villages and keeping their traditional skills alive. Ound works with one of the leading groups based in Santa Lucia. They provide Ound with premium
products that meet their high-quality standards of making and finishing. Each hand-knitted garment takes three to five days to be crafted and will last a lifetime if handled with care.
Following Ound's fascination with the colours of nature, they work exclusively with undyed wool and embrace its natural colour range. They create different colour shades by mixing and hand-knitting yarns in a variety of ways. Currently, they work with super fine wools
from Merino and Corriedale breeds, and by introducing new qualities to the mix, the prospects can be endless.
Ound wools are free from chemicals, and their yarns are three-ply twisted to minimise pilling.

About the brand
About the brand
Ound is a knitwear brand founded by Paula Delgado as an exploration of materials. Paula is inspired by the philosophy of permaculture, understanding the mutual relationship between land, animals and humans. This translates into her brand in the form of simple, pared back designs which are elegant and timeless.
Paula is motivated to prove that there is an alternative to the fashion industry - a broken system which is based on high-speed turnover, overproduction and waste - something she experienced first hand in her high level fashion design career.
Ound's jumpers are made using hand-knitted undyed wool. Each of their pieces is unique and they are made in limited numbers in Uruguay, supporting the skilled communities of women who hand knit each item. Each of the garments takes three to five days to be crafted and will last a lifetime if handled with care.
“In this day and age, the real nature of luxury is intimate and lies in simplicity and high quality materials.”
