Wool Fisherman Rib Beanie
Wool Fisherman Rib Beanie
The Wool Gatherers Workshop Fisherman Rib Beanie is the product of a celebration of reliability, heritage and traditional quality.
Woven from rich, thick, local Dartmoor Blue-faced Leicester wool that fits snugly over your head, locking in warmth, this beanie is made to be with you for every Winter to come. Due to the hand-dyed nature of the yarn, each hat holds a slight colour variation, making your beanie even more of a unique and personal accessory to have for life.
The Wool Gatherers Workshop is an organisation aiming to create a fully circular business model that's knitwear stands the test of time. Purposefully attuned to the idea of having a local value chain, each beanie is spun in Launceston, Cornwall by the Natural Fibre Company, to then be handcrafted down the road in Chagford, Dartmoor.
We adore the motivation The Wool Gatherers Workshop has to ensure a conscious production line and can imagine their Fisherman Rib Beanie looking fab paired with the Mussi Natalia Mohair & Merino Scarf and the Cawley Studio Sheepskin Reversible Avis Jacket to complete your cosy look.

Based in Chagford, Dartmoor, The Wool Gatherers are makers of consciously designed knitwear that uses locally sourced Dartmoor, UK wool.
An investigative project by nature, The Wool Gatherers have a personal commitment to learning about the production of wool itself, from spinning, weaving and knitting, supporting local Devonshire farmers in the process. Crafting jumpers, vests, scarves and hats, the brand takes pride in fashioning signature knitwear, lovingly crafted to last a lifetime.
Zoë, founder of the brand, takes a holistic approach to processes and materials at The Wool Gatherers, honouring the historic practice in Dartmoor by paying fair prices to local farming communities in this area and supporting the continuation of such heritage-rich practices in the UK.
