Jack Paffett

Jack Paffett is a Bristol-based artist whose work is rooted in reality, using daily observations to inspire his instinctive and expressive work. Through a process of layering, erasing, and rebuilding, his paintings explore the tension between control and spontaneity.

After studying at Falmouth University, Paffett relocated to Bristol, where his work has been widely exhibited. Highlights include his solo show Basic Space, which won the Chubb Bulleid People’s Choice Prize at The Wells Art Contemporary. Paffett hosted a solo exhibition at MIMMO Studios in
