Collection: Jesse Warby
Jesse is currently a Glasgow based multi disciplinary artist and illustrator. Her process has been to observe, document and recreate scenes with bold, brightly coloured drawings and textile pieces combining drawing, sewing and printmaking.
Creative problems and the adventure of new materials and techniques lends to her aesthetic, which is inquisitive and playful. Particularly drawn to themes of food, people and cultural heritage, these stories are shared through the celebration of local cultures and communities which she captures through her amusing phrasing and illustrations.
