Matt Sandalls

Working as an electrician by day and spending his nights painting, the prolific artist has carefully selected an edit of his work never before exhibited, especially for MIMMO Studios.

Matt’s work is semi-abstract, inspired by the everyday - overheard sentences, a vignette from daily life, a poem or a piece of music - toying with humour and melancholy in equal parts.

Working on both large scale canvas and intricate smaller scale illustrations, Sandalls’ work is striking and distinct.
