MIMMO Studios welcomes you to join us for a swapping event to celebrate the beauty of sharing.
Saturday 16th November 11am - 12.30pm
Finding a way to extend the life of the clothes we wear is a great way to reduce our environmental impact.

How it works:
- Please arrive at the start time of 11am
- Bring up to 3 pieces of clothing with you from your wardrobe. Items which don't get worn or you've fallen out of love with - please no shoes or accessories
- 1 item = 1 token
- We will ask you to wait in the shop for 15 minutes or so while we collate, check and add all the items and add them to the swap rail at once
- All attendees will be invited to the swap room to browse and try on
- Use your tokens in exchange for something new (to you)!
What's the problem?
- The average consumer now buys 60% more clothing than 15 years ago, and disposes of them much more quickly.
- Only 1% of clothes are recycled to make new ones, 2 tonnes of clothes are bought in the UK each minute in the UK.
- Each week in the UK, 11 million garments end up in landfill. If clothing stayed in active use for 9 months longer (to an average of 3 years), this could reduce the carbon and waste footprint by 20-30%
Please be considerate with the items you are swapping and make sure they are in reasonable condition and freshly cleaned. MIMMO Studios reserves the right to turn away items which are not of fair quality.

In Store Purchases
All in-store purchases are non-refundable.
Within 7 days, we can offer an exchange for item(s) of the same value, or a credit note. Credit notes are valid for 12 months from issue date and will be sent to the customer via email.
Online Purchases
We kindly ask that you double check your measurements and requirements before making a purchase, in order to reduce the carbon emissions of shipping returns. If you have any questions about a particular item, we will be happy to help and advise. Please send us an email to hello@mimmostudios.com.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@mimmostudios.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit being returned, so recommend you use a tracked or signed postal service to avoid issue. We will also require proof of postage. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned and sales are final;
- Preorder items
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants),
- Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items),
- Original artworks
- Personal care goods (such as beauty products),
- Earrings,
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases,
- Sale items,
- Gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
